Installing Power Retro
Before you begin
You must have the JIRA System Administrators global permission before you can carry out the instructions on this page.
You must have the JIRA Software installed on your system.
To install Power Retro from the Atlassian Marketplace the user will need to take the following steps:
Log in as a user with the JIRA Administrators global permission.
Click the admin drop-down and choose Add-ons and the Find new apps screen loads.
Tip: Use its Keyboard Shortcut instead: g then g and start typing manage... .Click in the Search the Marketplace search box and locate Power Retro.
The appropriate add-on version appears in the search results.Click Buy now to purchase a license for Power Retro.
You're prompted to log into your MyAtlassian account. Power Retro begins to download.Enter your information and click Generate license when redirected to MyAtlassian.
Click on Apply license.
If you're using an older version of UPM, you can copy and paste the license key into your JIRA instance.
Opening Power Retro for the first time
After installation accessing Power Retro is really easy. Finding and clicking Apps → Power Retro in the header of Jira will open the Dashboard. Through this page the user can easily Add Projects to the Dashboard for further use.
Activating projects individually is also possible through <project> → Project Settings → Power Retro.
After a project has been set up configuring Project Permissions should be the next step
The last step before actually having a Retrospective Event is to Create a Retrospective board on the Dashboard or through the Jira sidebar of a project.
