The Discussion step is for going through the most important topics of the Retrospective, discussing them, and creating Action Items for them.
Retro Cards and Groups that got at least one vote, are displayed during the Discussion step in the “All rated topics” section. Clicking on the Retro Cards and Groups in the “All rated topics” section will select them. Doing this will also reveal any Action Items that has been already added to them.
After selecting a Retro Card or Group, Action Items can be added to them. After typing in the “Click here to type your action item” field and pressing Enter the Action Item is created.
Action Items have multiple settings, which you can see below.
