Action Items are the ToDo list of a team based on the previous Retrospective(s).

General Information

Depending on the actually selected project card at the bottom half of the page the related Action Items show up. As a default, only the uncompleted, active Action Items appear. The Action Items are separated into 2 sections. The first section contains the Action Items from the last retrospective events, the other one covers all action items from previous events.

To complete an action item click on the completed tick at the end of the Action Item.

With the options menu at the end of the Action Item container you have several Action Item specific options:

  • open the editor modal

  • add due date topic to action item

  • create a new Jira Issue and connect it to the existing add due date to action item

  • delete the action item

Adding Due Date

Adding due date allows you to create deadlines for resolving existing action items. While the deadline is still ahead the due date indicator is green, but as soon time passes the deadline it changes to red.

 

 

If there is already an added due to on an action item, you are able to delete it, in the same way you added it, form the options menu.

Creating Jira Issues

Issue creating happens trough the well known Atlassian Create issue form. After creating the new issue, it will appear on the action item as a button and will be clickable to reach or edit its details.
To create Jira issue, you should open the action item modal and click on the Create Jira Issue button. (see below)

Action item handling

You can open any Action Item and read the details of it by clicking on the specific Action Item. After opening it, if you have the necessary permissions, you can edit its parameters:

  • Title

  • Due date

  • Topic

  • Priority

  • Assignee

  • Create Jira issue

  • Description

  • Delete the Action Item
