First connect to Slack
Navigate to the Project Settings / Power Retro section or open Power Retro from Dashboard and click Manage Retrospective on a card
Click on Slack Connector in the menu
Click on Add to Slack button
Log in to your Slack account at the pop-up window
Allow PRNotification to send messages in your slack channels
Set channels
Navigate to the Project Settings / Power Retro section or open the Power Retro from Dashboard and click Manage Retrospective on a card
Click on Slack Connector in the menu
After a successfully connection, you will see the following
Turn on/off slack messages for your team and/or project
Choose the appropriate slack channel where you want to receive notifications (to see even private channels, use the tooltip or the description below)
By clicking on the Test button, you are able to test the channel and you will get a welcome message
Select the notifications which you want to receive
Private channels
If you would like to set private channels, you should call @PRnotification manually in your Slack channel. There is a tooltip in the project settings.
Steps:
1. Open your Slack and choose your desired private channel
2. Send @PRnotification in your channel and click on the ‘Invite Them’ button (if it is not already invited)
3. You will get a feedback if the invitation was successful
4. Go back to Jira -› Project Settings -› Power Retro -› Slack Connector
5. Refresh the browser
6. Now you can find your selected private channel too
